Stump Hole Rustic Furniture and Accesories

Eighteen years ago we decided to purchase our little getaway cabin in Hocking Hills, and we have never looked back. It is a small cabin but just perfect with room for friends and family plus the hunting acreage needed for Tim's hobby. It was completely empty so our next challenge was finding the perfect furnishing to compliment the area and rustic cabin feel. Our close friends asked us to spend a weekend with them in Northern Michigan and we found the perfect furniture and accessories. We have always enjoyed antique items and the furniture we found was antique and rustic. Rittenhouse log furniture was made in Cheboygan MI from 1930-1950. The love for this furniture got out of hand and we needed a way to move some of the additional items we had purchased.

Since I retired a few years ago and Tim seems to love this stuff as much me, we decided to start selling it. Some may think it is odd we drive to Michigan to purchase the furniture then bring it back to our shop in Ohio then return to Michigan several times a year to sell our items, but truth being said it has been a great way to travel, meet new people and feed our habit.

In our travels we have met people that had relatives that worked in the plant, people that have more love for the furniture than we do and people that are willing to share all they know.

When we talk with past, present or future clients we want them to realize the value and quality of this product, but at the same time see and feel the love that comes with it.

We are so thankful we are in the stage of our life we can do this, and thankful for all we have met along the way. We look forward to many more years of scouting, networking, shopping, selling and purchasing Rittenhouse and other rustic furniture décor.
